A company client wanted to develop a large area of land it owned on the Island. It planned to go into a joint venture with a property developer to subdivide the land into a substantial number of lots.
Roach Pittis helped the company draft the joint venture agreement setting out the rights and responsibilities of each party. We also put together contracts for the sale of the land, and acted for the company in the conveyancing of the lots.
Because we produced the contract package promptly and comprehensively, the company was able to sell the lots very quickly. The joint venture proved extremely profitable for our client.
